Okay, I know this user’s data will not apply to all MSA users but I thought it was worth sharing.

The data below is from one week of Spiffy Bin…aka, Mike Walker’s MSA numbers.  He has some magic sauce when it comes to SEO because he shows up across the USA…..it’s just crazy.

Anyway, here are his numbers for one week in July.

Service Locator Views (MSA window pops up but they may have not entered in their address):  378

Address Lookups:

  • In Area = 137
  • Out of Area = 122
  • Unknown = 13

Let’s only use all 122 “out of area” submissions.  Also, let’s say all 122 (not reality) made a purchase and poor Mike had to refund all of them.  

Mike’s average sales price is $30, credit card processing fee is 2.7% + $.30 per transaction.

So with his numbers, let’s calculate how much money Mike would have lost in one week.

122 * $30 = $3,660….this is one month of revenue

$3,660 * .027% = $98.82…processing fee

$.30 * 122 = $36.60…transaction fee

Total Monetary Loss:  $135.42…..in one week

This does NOT include his time to respond/refund all 122 out of area responses.

This is not a perfect world scenario….however, it shows how valuable MSA can be to your business.

Again, this is not the norm but I thought it was worth sharing how MSA is helping can cleaners save time and money.
